I’m not a musician but this book is so much more than music. After reading it, I now keep it on my desk as a go-to reference book and creativity booster for thinking outside of the box about my music career. Insightful, funny and helpful for career musicians. Musicians who feel lost on their career path would do well to read this book and internalize Derek’s advice. Your Music and People is a fantastic read full of great advice for creativity, business, and life in general.
